The General Assembly of AHRLA agreed with its free will and through fair, impartial election on achieving the wish of all the human rights activists and all the seekers of democracy, in a unique unprecedented act the principal of circulation of authority has already and truly achieved inside a non governmental organization in Egypt. A new board is formed as following:

  • Rabie Wahba        Chairman
  • Ayman Ayad        Vice chairman
  • Rania Soliman        Treasurer
  • Tareq Khater         Secretariat
  • Mohammad Abdel Monem        Member
As soon as the new board was formed and announced, all the members of the association began to express their deep honest thanks to Mohammad Abdel Monem, (previous chairman of AHRLA). Their words were narrating his hard painstaking experience which he had been through. Every member in AHRLA is proud of living that experience of achieving democracy and practicing it in reality. That achievement should always be imitated and followed in all our activities of defending Human Rights and supporting the values of democracy and the civil society in Egypt.
The members of the Association for Human Rights Legal Aid celebrate their victory and anticipate the wide opening of the membership for all those who devote their dreams and wishes to defending human rights and practicing democracy in reality in Egypt with all the solemnity and the sublimity of the experiment.
AHRLA wishes to put that achievement as a real example of applying what we call for and be consistent with the noble objectives and mandates are put to make progress in society through prompting Human Rights and going forward in the path of democracy.
As part of Human Rights Movement we will go on in prevailing the values of democracy, of them the most important value is circulating authority in a real democratic system by which we can defend citizens against any violation.
AHRLA is promising all the citizens in Egypt whose rights are violated as well as all the interested in human rights issues to be consistent with all the high real values it always calls for. Using all the powers we have as well as the democratic choices, in addition to adopting the principal of transparency we will always go for activating these sublime values and doing our mission
