While the people are gravelly concerned with the massacres in Palestine, the government of Egypt imposes more economic burdens!

Amid feelings of frustration and sorrow among the Egyptian people due to massacres and human rights violations perpetrated by Israel in the occupied territories of Palestine, government of Egypt has taken the chance and imposed additional charges on railway services. This sudden step is entirely unjustified.
Rather, Government of Egypt had to ease some burdens on citizens to address the impacts of the economic crisis resultant from its biased policy to businessmen at the expense of thousands of laborers , women and children. Many workers are subjected day by day to arbitrary dismissal. Moreover, there are legal violations accompanying to the sale process of public sector. So livelihoods are ever deteriorating and being lost sometimes.
Also, the government had to protect citizens and not to leave them vulnerable to monopolization policies pursued by foreign companies as occurred at Alexandria when a foreign company for cleanness have monopolized this activity and added heavy charges to bills of electricity consumption.
Furthermore, The government had to refer all the suspected in the accident of upper Egypt train that had taken place on the eve of the Idha Eed (the feast). It increases burdens on citizens , the victims , while leave the wrongdoers at large.
Association Of Human Rights Legal Aid has reiterated its appeals to the competent authorities to take the social dimension into account and not to gamble with livelihoods that hardly enough for sustenance and survival.
AHRLA calls for the competent authorities to abolish the unjustified rise of prices and pursue the legal procedures when it intends to raise or impose prices and charges. By this way more violations of economic and social rights can be avoided.
